I have loved motorbikes as long as I can remember and have been riding them since I was a teenager, buying bikes, doing them up, selling them on, trying to make a few quid. Even fancied myself as a bit of an Evel Knieval when I got my brother to lie on the field holding a plank of wood for me to ride over! Fortunately, with age comes wisdom. Fast forward to 2011 when I came back to the UK having lived in France for 6 years. I decided to improve my motorcycling skills and progressed to passing my ROSPA Gold test. At the same time I became involved with the National Escort Group (NEG) who are a group of trained motorbike marshals who are responsible for the marshalling on British Cycling Road Races. I also took the opportunity to attend First Aid courses including First On Scene and AED/CPR. I carry a portable defibrillator to events where required. I have now decided to set up my own business to provide a marshalling service for Cycle Sportives, Marathons, charity events etc. I have a broad base of fully trained riders to call on and am fully committed to providing the best service possible.
